The power of prayer.

THE ROAD OF PRAYER

As you walk the road of prayer, you will be guided into everything that’s true and right...everything that is for your fellow man and yourself to your benefit…everything that allows you to experience the love of God.

He will direct you on this ways through His words and His will. He will lead you on paths that will lead directly to His heart. Every prayer that He answers will be to your advantage and to His glorification. We thank you Father, for the gift of prayer in the Name of Jesus.

Amen.

THE POWER OF PRAYER

When Jesus taught us how to pray, He gave unto us one of His most powerful gifts.

Whenever we are distressed or afraid we can just “tap” into His power for assistance.

God is so awesome, He will not only recharge your spirit in times of trouble but He will also make a way for you to get through your hardships. To go through hardships is part of live…If you are poor or if you are rich, we all have to face tribulation. Maybe the poor man says: If only I had so much money as Mr. Rich to take care of all my problems, or what if the rich man says: If only I had such little responsibility!! Does not matter from whatever walk of live, you will have problems. The only way you can survive the walk of live is to pray to God. He will be attentive to your prayers because He is God.

The blessed us with Jesus Christ so that in Christ’s name we could pray to Him. When we pray in the name of Jesus, He stands in for us before God. James 4:2 states that we do not have because we do not ask. If your heart is pure He will grant you your desires. He is the God of Power; He is the God of Love. He can do anything for you. Nothing but nothing is impossible for God.

He is El Shaddai, our God of strength.

ISAIAH 41.10

SO DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU; DO NOT BE DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD!

I am just saying....

All over the world people are focused on education. They are constantly looking for a way to better them selves and to improve on the standards of living.
Scientists are forever looking for something new or to progress on whatever they have already discovered.
Everyone is some kind of expert and when in debate the one must always have a more intellectual answer than the one before.

The children of God have now unfortunately fallen into the same trap.
Theologians, pastors, priests and many more is trying to analyze God.
All to show how educated they are. They debate on subjects like:
Why does bad things happen to good people, why is there famine and disease?
How can a God of love allow so many wrongs?

God gave us life.
God gave us Jesus
In this world that should be enough!
His grace is sufficient

We learn from scripture that evil originated in heaven. In God’s presence!
He gave us Jesus so that we will be able to deal with evil on earth.
By no means whatsoever can anyone grasp the Glory of God; therefore it can not be questioned. We as mankind will never be mature enough to comprehend His magnificence.
The human race has become infected with pride because God has granted them some knowledge and that syndrome of arrogance will be the downfall of many. To contemplate dead words will only be an ailment on your own soul.

Jesus was a noble man that never questioned the scriptures. Though there were many opportunities for Him to start debating about God, He never got caught in that snare!
He accepted the scriptures to be the word of God without any doubt.

Titus 3:9 specifically tells us not to argue about the law.

Christian groups use to inspire and comfort each other. They were there for support and prayer. They used to have compassion and love. Now Christian meetings and chat rooms have turned into battlefields about God’s word.
If a topic is started, immediately the next person must come up with a more educated answer that will only follow with a more educated argument.

An example of this happened to me just recently. I took the liberty of asking to start a really serious prayer group for the people in the Middle East and immediately it opened a debate about giving. It was statements like: we have to do good deeds, not pray, and prayer is an excuse to keep your hands folded!

I was merely asking for partners in prayer so that we can pray for people that have been scarred by endless wars.
Yes, we must assist them where possible. We send aid wherever we can. I am very well aware that Jesus fed multitudes, but that was while He was busy ministering to them. He never told His disciples to load the donkeys and go and take bread to the poor. Jesus told them to leave everything behind and to go and spread the word of God and He taught them how to pray!

There are many people who need our prayers but I strongly feel that we should really focus on the people in the Middle East. The turmoil in those countries could unleash brutal wars all over the earth that will eventually affect all of us. Will that have to come to pass before we have compassion for those nations.

And another thing, why do children of God always think that they have to get people saved. Jesus does not need your help. He died for the right of mankind’s salvation.
You can’t get anybody saved no matter how educated you are in scripture. Only the Holy Spirit can convince a person of God’s love. All God expects from us is to spread His wonderful Word and to pray for His people. He did give us the instruction to study and show ourselves approved but we must use it with the comprehension of scripture to the glorification of God.
There is no way that an educated argument is going to get you into heaven.

Jesus is humble,
Jesus is kind,
Jesus is love.
Jesus Christ is anything good!
When He was offered the cross, He did not put up an argument about it.
He accepted it outright because it was the will of God!

God allowed us to accumulate knowledge and He has blessed us to evolve into a very intellectual species. We should not waste our intellect on meaningless arguments that does not bring edification to the soul.
We should use our education and knowledge to help improve the life of people who has been in wars for so long that they have forgotten how it is to live without bombs exploding around them.
To have a walk in the park with birds around you is some kind of fairytale to most of them. These wars have been going on for so long that they were born into it and they don’t know how it is to live in peace at all! The constant fear of impending death or mutilation by violence has become a way of live. Can you grasp that emotion? And will you not be angry if your family was disfigured and scarred by military weapons?

What are our good deeds to the people of Zimbabwe? We contribute hundreds of thousands of rand to a country that is starving. All funds get swallowed up by their government and nobody dares to question! Can you imagine the desperation to know that there is just no food? What must you do to feed your child? What will you do in that situation? Be honest, can you really comprehend such famine? No food available, not even to steal. The terrible desperation and extreme anxiety of hunger!

Why don’t we just really pray for these people? I am really not talking about the kind of prayers that we all just sit together and the same time just have a moment of silence. I am talking about some serious intersession for people who were deprived of their inheritance. We need to stand in for these human beings. They cannot do that for themselves anymore because they have lost all hope! If there is someone that cannot understand this situation of hopelessness, be thee the first then to cast the stone!
If the children of God can truly stand together and pray for them, God will come to their rescue.

I overheard non believer saying that Christians are doing great deeds so that they can sing their own praises about it. That statement made me to have a good look at myself. I realized that if my right hand should know what my left hand is doing, I will dwell in great danger. That is the dangerous spirit of pride.

It was with utmost distress that I have discovered how difficult it is to start a world prayer group for these children of God. Much to my surprise, my motives are being questioned constantly. God blessed me with a compassionate spirit and God blessed me as an intercessor. The only motive I have is love.

Should you feel offended by my words, I humbly ask that you forgive me and to please be very honest with yourself as to why you are offended.
Mankind is his own greatest enemy. I am not judging anybody.
Only pride feels insult!

Children of God we have to go back to our roots. Remember to have compassion for those who hate you.

May I also remind you that if you are not willing to sincerely start praying for the people of the Middle East, that war can engulf many nations to the extreme that we all will all live like the people of Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.,

Please remember the people of the Middle East in your prayers.
That is your responsibility as a child of God.

Job on the Witness Stand

Job 38; Psalm 18:1-3; Proverbs 4:26-27
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
"Who is this who darkens counsel
By words without knowledge?
Now prepare yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer Me.
"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding.
Who determined its measurements?
Surely you know!
Or who stretched the line upon it?
To what were its foundations fastened?
Or who laid its cornerstone,
When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
"Or who shut in the sea with doors,
When it burst forth and issued from the womb;
When I made the clouds its garment,
And thick darkness its swaddling band;
When I fixed My limit for it,
And set bars and doors;
When I said,
'This far you may come, but no farther,
And here your proud waves must stop!'
"Have you commanded the morning since your days began,
And caused the dawn to know its place,
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth,
And the wicked be shaken out of it?
It takes on form like clay under a seal,
And stands out like a garment.
>From the wicked their light is withheld,
And the upraised arm is broken.
"Have you entered the springs of the sea?
Or have you walked in search of the depths?
Have the gates of death been revealed to you?
Or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?
Have you comprehended the breadth of the earth?
Tell Me, if you know all this.
"Where is the way to the dwelling of light?
And darkness, where is its place,
That you may take it to its territory,
That you may know the paths to its home?
Do you know it, because you were born then,
Or because the number of your days is great?
"Have you entered the treasury of snow,
Or have you seen the treasury of hail,
Which I have reserved for the time of trouble,
For the day of battle and war?
By what way is light diffused,
Or the east wind scattered over the earth?
"Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water,
Or a path for the thunderbolt,
To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one,
A wilderness in which there is no man;
To satisfy the desolate waste,
And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?
Has the rain a father?
Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
>From whose womb comes the ice?
And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth?
The waters harden like stone,
And the surface of the deep is frozen.
"Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades,
Or loose the belt of Orion?
Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season?
Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs?
Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?
Can you set their dominion over the earth?
"Can you lift up your voice to the clouds,
That an abundance of water may cover you?
Can you send out lightnings, that they may go,
And say to you, 'Here we are!'?
Who has put wisdom in the mind?
Or who has given understanding to the heart?
Who can number the clouds by wisdom?
Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven,
When the dust hardens in clumps,
And the clods cling together?
"Can you hunt the prey for the lion,
Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,
When they crouch in their dens,
Or lurk in their lairs to lie in wait?
Who provides food for the raven,
When its young ones cry to God,
And wander about for lack of food?"

WISDOM
Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established.
Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil.
Proverbs 4:26-27

Awesome wonder

Forceful white water masses crashing on solid black stone. The loud rumble, a song before the Throne. A powerful force, humbled at His sovereignty. From dawn to dusk the oceans worship Him. Cast they eyes upon the earth for this is the home of His nail torn feet. Destructive winds that rip, tear and destroy will humble at His persuasive whisper. Enforcement of His will, subjection from nature. Every pebble known, every drop of dew accounted. The omnipotence of almighty God. Nature stands in wonder, forever the angels hover in awe. Blood drenched grace gifted to us, in return "love" that is all He wanted. Behold the awesome splendor of nature and be forever humbled by infirmity.

The will of God will not take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes
something from you, He is opening your hands to receive something better.

I use for my lips , Truth
I use for my voice, Kindness
I use for my ears, Compassion
I use for my hands, Charity
I use for my figure, Uprightness
I use for my heart, Love
I use for anyone who do not like me, Prayer
but to keep all of the above, I use Jesus

HOPE

It is with great regret that I did not rely this message from God sooner.

1Corintians 13:13
So now faith, hope and love abide, those three, but the greatest of these is love.

We, the children of God, look upon this scripture and we try our very best to love everybody. We tend to focus only on the part that states "the greatest of these is love"
Faith, we know we have because we believe in God. Why did we forget "Hope".
Psalm 9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever. Now, more than ever, put your hope in the Lord. Hope together with faith will work miracles in our lives.
Hebrews11.1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Do you see the secret? When you hope on something good and righteous your faith will carry it through.
1 Corinthians 13:17 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things. As hope work together with faith, so hope works together with love..
Do not forget that in Romans 15:13 scripture calls Him "the God of Hope".

ELOHIM

Humiliation, agony and despair,
It's over now.
Blood still dripping from the tree
Crown of thorns and a curtain torn
The temple destroyed,
a nation will morn.
Cursed, beaten and shamelessly slaughtered,
all for you and for me.
Dark red blood mingles with dust around the cross.
The earth covered itself with darkness, ashamed of every stone.
- IT IS "HE"-
Realization and utter dismay, what have we done?
Lightning lashes through darkness, and there,
a tear from heaven crashing in the dust at the foot of the cross.
Nails used, they will rust, everything will perish.
A new disease , fear, helplessness and despair covers the earth,
as the blackness of night covers all of creation .
The heavens receive Him, Angels rejoice.
Victory - Blood drenched earth.
It is written "HE IS LORD".
The enemy is now defeated and crushed beneath the nail torn feet.
Prophesies fulfilled - there is now a defeated foe.
A victorious Savior to heal the earth.
Precious Blood spilled, a price to pay.
that was all that was good enough for you and me .
Rejoice children of the creator
For it is "He"
God Almighty
ELOHIM

Job 22:21

Submit to God and be at peace with Him, In this way prosperity will come to you

God will give us victory in 2009

What a wonderful holiday! It was wonderful to have my family visiting me for the holidays. It has been a long time since we have all been together over the Christmas holidays. GOD bless all throughout 2009. When I read Genesis 22, God told Abraham to take Isaac and sacrifice him as a burnt offering. The NIV Bible explains the record of Abraham's obedience to God in offering his son Isaac clearly prefigures the offering of God's own Son Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice for humanity. Wonderful, that is true, but I also see something else in that message. When you are in some desperate situation, don't be selfish, take yourself out of the picture, do the right thing despite your own feelings and God will give you victory.
